Using the Insight CoachPro Platform

  • How do I access the Insight CoachPro app?

    To access the Insight CoachPro app, first login to your account on insightcoachpro.com. Then use the link on the My Account page or in the Nav Bar to launch the app. For subsequent visits, you can head straight to the app at app.insightcoachpro.com.

  • Why can’t I enter my athlete’s full name?

    If you entered your athlete’s full first and last name, you’d be sharing their Personally Identifiable Information to a third party without their consent. To protect both you and Insight CoachPro, we only allow you to enter the first letter of the athlete’s last name.

  • Where do I update athlete information?

    Athlete Information can be updated in a variety of locations:

    • You can update an athlete's Posted Through date from the Home Page, the Central Dashboard, or any Athlete View.
    • You can update an athlete's profile information from the Athlete Info view in the Athlete Hero Bar.
    • You can update an athlete's workout settings from the Workout Settings view in the Athlete Hero Bar.
    • You can update an athlete's weekly schedule from the Weekly Schedule view in the Athlete Hero Bar.
    • You can update an athlete's start and end date from the Complete Roster view.
  • What is “Posted Through”?

    "Posted Through" represents the last date through which an athlete's training is posted. You can use the "Posted Through" dates for each athlete to manage your workload.

  • Why does the Season Road Map / Training Plan only show Date, Cycle, Race, and Notes?

    In order to see the columns for workouts in an athlete's Season Road Map and Training Plan, the athlete's workout settings must include more than 0 workouts for that sport. You can edit an athlete's workout settings in the Workout Settings view in the Athlete Hero Bar.

  • Why aren’t there columns on the Season Road Map / Training Plan for [fill in sport here]?

    In order to see the columns for workouts in an athlete’s Season Road Map and Training Plan, the athlete’s workout settings must include more than 0 workouts for that sport. You can edit an athlete’s workout settings in the Workout Settings view in the Athlete Hero Bar.

  • Why do you need the athlete’s swim pace?

    The athlete's swim pace is used to convert swim distances to durations in the Season Road Map and Training Plan volume views.

  • How are swim workout durations calculated?

    Swim workout distances are translated to durations based on the provided athlete swim pace. Fifteen seconds per hundred is added to the provided swim pace for volume calculations; for example, an athlete with an average swim pace of 1:45 (yards or meters) and 4000 (yards or meters) weekly distance will have a weekly swim volume of 80 minutes (2 min/100 x 40 100s), or 1:20.
