Hello and welcome to Insight CoachPro. Let’s take a look at athlete Training Zones and Threshold Tests.
We have two different ways that we can view an athlete’s Training Zones. The first is in the Athlete Hero Bar above. Here you can see athletes swim, bike, and run training zones, which can be convenient if you want to also look at their Season Road Map or their Training Plan and understand how to program their training.
If you want to set an athlete’s Training Zones by updating their Threshold Tests, you you can go to Thresholds & Zones in the Athlete Content View. Below, you can see a summary of all their past swim, bike, and run threshold tests as you have entered them, and on the right, you can view their swim, bike, and run training zones. To add a threshold test, simply click the plus button, add the new information, the updated thresholds, and add the test.
The zones on the right will reflect the most recent information from threshold tests as they’re available. For example, the most recent bike threshold test that we entered had an FTP but not a lactate threshold heart rate. So it will pull the heart rate zones from the prior threshold test and the FTP from the most recent threshold test.
With that, you’re ready to manage your athlete’s Training Zones and Threshold Tests.
